Brenda Bedwell, 51, of Big Spring, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2007, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 2, 2007 at the Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel with Rev. Bill Ballard, pastor of Airport Baptist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.She was born on August 6, 1955, in Benbrook, Texas and married Edward "Pete" Bedwell on April 1, 1981 in Lovington, New Mexico.Brenda and her husband, Pete delivered the Big Spring Herald for over 21 years. She loved sewing, quilting and crocheting. She enjoyed being with her family.Survivors include her husband, Edward "Pete" Bedwell of Big Spring; one daughter Dana Archer Hicks and husband, Bryan of Kentucky; two sons, James Cogburn and wife, Kim, and Mike Cogburn and Jennifer Cate all of Big Spring; her father, Clifford Ray Haley of Seminole, ; one brother and sister-in-law, Clifton Ray and Anita Haley of Seminole; three step children, Patsy Bedwell, Tammy Bedwell, and Mark Bedwell all of Big Spring; and 10 grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her mother, Ila Fern Haley.
