John Brandon Hodges, 36, of Midland left us to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday December 4, 2012. Brandon, or as his sisters lovingly called him, Bubba, also known to his friends as Hodgee was born on September 5, 1976 to Johnny and Carla Hodges, in Midland. He is a 1995 graduate of Midland High School, and attended Midland College. He was a self-employed building contractor for the majority of his adult life; he enjoyed his work, and was good at what he did. Brandon was a loving son, father, brother, and soon to be uncle and will be missed by all.Although he left us at such a young age, Brandon lived an incredibly full life. He was a very charismatic person who had a way of drawing people in and he never met a stranger. He always had a smile on his face, a joke or a story to tell, and a way of making everyones day just a little bit brighter. One of the things people loved most about Brandon was the fact that he was always there whether anyone needed a shoulder to cry on, a good laugh, or an honest opinion. He was truly a people-person and adored by many.
