Brandon Daniel Bishop, 47, of Big Spring, passed away March 20, 2022. Viewing will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 27, 2022 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
Brandon was born September 17, 1974 in San Angelo, Texas. He graduated from Junction High School in 1993. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He was a rancher in Junction and Ft. Davis for almost 20 years and was also a Government Trapper in Rock Springs. He was also a welder for 35 years. He moved trailer houses with his grandfather and had worked as a corrections officer and a jailer previously. He was currently working in the maintenance department at Forsan ISD. You can sum Brandon up by saying he was a “Jack-of-all-trades”. He loved welding, hunting and fishing, especially on the coast at Mission Bay.
Brandon is survived by his wife Amber Hillger-Bishop; two sons: Daniel Bishop Jr. (23) and Beau Bishop (8) of Colorado City; one step-daughter: Rylee Thomason (14) of Big Spring; one brother: Levi Brown of Ft. Davis and his ex-wife: Michelle Johnson of Colorado City.
He was preceded in death by grandparents/legal guardians JD and Jewel Bishop.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial be donated to National Fibromyalgia Association or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
