Bradley Richard Bell, 45, of Midland, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 1:00 pm, at First Baptist Church Chapel in Midland. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.Brad was born on January 18, 1971 in Leoti Kansas to Donald G. Bell and Shirley Emfinger. Brad was raised by Dan and Shirley Emfinger spending his childhood in the beautiful Gila mountain area of Cliff, New Mexico. Work later brought the family to Midland. He attended Midland schools and Dan provided the interest in the electrical trades that would lead Brad to a successful career. Brad found the Lord and became a member of Cotton Flat Baptist Church while in High School. The Lord led him to Hardin-Simmons University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Ministry.Brad was a devoted family man. Although they never really got to know each other in high school, the holidays of 2009 brought Brad and Tammy together and they fell deeply in love. They were married May 7, 2011. Brad showed his love for Tammy at every opportunity, taking her on dates and was the gentleman always opening doors for her, helping around the house, and just spoiling her all the time. They had a mutual passion for travel, making so many new friends and booking future trips with these new friends. A friend to everyone, Brad never knew a stranger, seeing these as opportunities to make new friends. He enjoyed living life to the fullest, surrounding himself with people and pets. His heart was as big as they come. Brad was always laughing and picking on everyone–it was one of the ways of showing his love. When life presented challenges, Brad met them with kindness and a cheerful spirit. His open, friendly personality spilled over to every person or group he met. Music was Brad’s Passion! He enjoyed listening to it, singing along with it and sharing it with others, which is why his college major was music ministry. His faith was always apparent in the way he conducted his life every day. Brad was a competitor! He truly loved Fantasy Football, card games, billiards, and just about any competitive activity that could be shared with family and friends. Animals were near and dear to Brad. He was known to set-up play dates with the neighbor’s pets, inviting them over to play with his pets. His big heart, cheerful spirit, along with dedication to others, made him quite successful in his career. Although Brad worked in the electrical field most of his career, he found his work as a Sr. Drive Technician at GE Oil & Gas was to be the most rewarding. His dedication to this work and the people involved was nothing short of amazing. He worked tirelessly ensuring the customers and co-workers were taken care of every day. A mentor to many and always wanting to learn, he loved to pass along the things he learned to help others become better. Brad, we will always love and miss you but we understand the Lord has called you home.He is survived by wife, Tammy Bell of Midland; parents, Dan and Shirley Emfinger of Cliff, NM and Don and Christi Bell of Glendale, AZ; daughters, Reanna Bell, Derringer Bell and Emily Hinson; son, Joe Hinson and wife Taylor Hinson; sister, Lori Ann (Bell) Eva; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his sister, Michell Dinwiddie and his maternal and paternal grandparents. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Dust Bowl Animal Rescue, PO Box 62104, Midland, TX 79711,,
