Braden Michel Joplin, 25, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services are being held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 1:00PM at Crestview Baptist Church in Midland. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Braden was born on October 2, 1990 to Kenneth and Carolyn Joplin in Levelland, Texas. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 2009. Braden was a senior at Texas tech with a major in Agricultural and Applied Economics. Braden had currently decided to sit out a semester to be a student volunteer for Dr. Ben Carson’s presidential campaign. He told his parents many times how much doing this would mean to him because he wanted to help change the direction of his country. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. He also enjoyed all sports, especially football, baseball and basketball. Braden was anticipating being best man in his brother’s wedding this coming March. He was a kind person and someone you enjoyed being around. He loved to laugh as well as make others laugh. He will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by his parents, Kenny and Carolyn Joplin; brother, Bailey and fiancé, Stephanie; paternal grandparents, Ronnie Hinson and Jean of Denver City and Janette Huddleston and Billy of Snyder; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marie Hinson and paternal grandfather, Harry Joplin.Pallbearers names Zach Claybrook, Zach Starnes, Montgomery Floyd, Justin Willmon, Trey Thompson, Nathan Carrasco, John Almager, Brady Smith, Matt Nelson, Hunter Byler and James Fuller. ,
