Death is such an enemy and is no respecter of age.Experiencing such a loss,,we may wonder why? or if their is anything to look forward to?Jesus well knew the Bible statement: Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them allEcclesiastes 9:11. It's sadly too familiar to so many of your caring friends and family who have spent time in St. Lawrence & Garden City. Each time I'm told of the passing of someone I know, it reminds me of something Phil Swenson said to me a good while back - I can't say anything that's going to make you feel any better at this moment. All I can say is I'm sorry. At the time, I thought it was a bit cruel as I was looking for bold and/or flowery words of consolation; as I've aged, I realize it's one of the truest and most comforting things anyone said to me at that time. You all have been in and will remain in my prayers, as will Boyd.
