Dear parents and family of Boyd, I am so sorry for the tragic loss of your beloved, young son who had his whole life yet to live. Death is such an enemy and is no respecter of age.Experiencing such a loss,,we may wonder why? or if their is anything to look forward to?Jesus well knew the Bible statement: Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them allEcclesiastes 9:11. He knew that sometimes bad things just happen. The wonderful future resurrection hope is the promise found at John 5:28,29. Revelation 21:3,4 states that in the future ' death will be no more. and pain will be no more, the former things will have passed away.'Our Creator, Jehovah God, by means of his son Jesus, is going to undo the tragedies that touch our lives today and we will be able to welcome back onto the paradise earth, our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. sincerely dianne mullins
Words cannot describe how saddened we are for you during this difficult time. I pray that God will grant you peace and give you comfort.
Marcie & Delmar,So sorry to hear about your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the rest of the family.
Batla Family,My deepest condolences to all the Batla family. Boyd was a very humble medical student and he always had a smile. I enjoyed talking to him whenever he would come by the Office of Academic Affairs. May God give you comfort during this time and specially during the holidays. God Bless.
Darla, Garry, Misti & Kyndra,The feeling I've had in the pit of my stomach since I read about Boyd has been hard to shake. It's sadly too familiar to so many of your caring friends and family who have spent time in St. Lawrence & Garden City. Each time I'm told of the passing of someone I know, it reminds me of something Phil Swenson said to me a good while back - I can't say anything that's going to make you feel any better at this moment. All I can say is I'm sorry. At the time, I thought it was a bit cruel as I was looking for bold and/or flowery words of consolation; as I've aged, I realize it's one of the truest and most comforting things anyone said to me at that time. You all have been in and will remain in my prayers, as will Boyd.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I imagine there is no pain more far-reaching and deeper than losing a child. Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for your loss. Your son must have been an inspiration to everyone around him. His big heart and inviting personality are truly the mark of wounderful parents. Losing a child must be a pain that we can never feel until it becomes reality. Darla I'm here for you to go through it with you. I love you so very much. You have to believe that your connection with Boyd will never be broken.
Chief Boyd, Sorry to hear about your Families loss.Deepest Condolences to your family.
To Darla, My heart and my prayers go out to you that you may find strength and help from our Lord. I cannot imagine the sorrow you must feel. I will hold you in my heart. Steve
I was sad to hear of your loss, praying God will provide comfort, peace and strength to the family.
Batla's: I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I don't ever remember a time when I saw Boyd that he wasn't smiling. He was always sweet and kind to all of us at the store. May God bless you all and keep you next to His loving heart. I am thinking of you and you all are in my prayers.
May God wrap his arms around you. Our prayers are with you.
Darla, May God hold you in his arms today, tomorrow, and the next day. Covering you in prayers today, Delma
Words can never express the way a family feels after losing a loved one, so I can only send hugs and prayers your way! It does help knowing that one day you will be reunited! I know God will give you all strength and courage to look forward!
My heart breaks for your family. I know there are no words that can help the heartache. If you ever need to talk you know I am here. I send my love, and know Darla if I can help you in any way I will. I know the pain is greater than we feel we can bear alone. I know God helps us but sometimes a mother to mother helps. I'm here if you need me and Harry just gave me a big hug and kiss from you.
To the Batla family,We are deeply saddened at the loss of your dear son and brother, Boyd. The world has lost one of its brightest rays of light. May God bless him and keep him, and may you all find comfort in the hope that you will one day be reunited with him.Shane and Jennifer Wilson
Dear Batla Family,My deepest condolences to your family. Boyd was a hardworking student. I am truly saddened by his passing. May God continue to bless you. Take comfort in knowing he is watching over you. To be absent from the body is to be present in the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel. It seems like just yesterday that Boyd, Chelsea and Holly were toddlers playing together in your home. May all the wonderful memories of Boyd since that time help you through this difficult time. My heart goes out to all of you.
Darla, Kendra and Family,The loss of a son/brother anytime causes unspeakable sorrow but one so young just magnifies it. My thoughts and prayers are with Boyd's family. Boyd was a wonderful friend to my son, Paul O'Leary. Each time, we visited Paul we had the opportunity to visit with Boyd as well. I will never forget how Paul and Boyd enjoyed watching All sports and would yell so loud when their team won! Boyd also helped Paul surprise me with two baby goats who grew up to be huge! He was an awesome person who forever touched our lives. Thank you, Boyd, for being a friend to Paul.
I am praying for your family during this terribly difficult time. Our family has so many happy memories of Boyd. He is very special to all of us and will always hold a very special place in our hearts. I hope that God will comfort you during this time and you will also find comfort knowing that Boyd was loved by so many.
