Bonnie Barber, of Odessa, formerly of Big Spring, died on Friday, October 12, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.She was born on January 11, 1927, in Prescott, Arkansas and married C. W. "Jack" Barber on March 23, 1946 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 27, 1988.A longtime resident of Big Spring, Bonnie had worked at Webb Air Force Base and the VA Medical Center for 26 years. She and her late husband, Jack, owned and operated Barber Glass & Mirror. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Theresa Barber of Dallas; one grandson, Kaman Barber; one great grandson, Donovan Barber of Dallas; two sisters, Janice Ikeler of Odessa and Helen Faulkner of Fort Worth; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill W. and Jane Tubb of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Kenneth Larry and Elaine Tubb of Royse City; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Tubb of Big Spring and a host of nieces and nephews.
