Boerne Phillips, 94, of Midland, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 13, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with Rev. John Kidwell, officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland.Boerne was born on July 3, 1912 in Macon, Texas to Orval and Kate Kidwell. She married Harvey (Jack) Phillips on October 3, 1942 in Midland. He preceded Boerne in death on August 10, 1997. She grew up and attended school in Midland. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company from 1936 until 1945. From 1951 to 1960, she worked for Rohm-Haas Company in Houston. She volunteered with various nursing homes in Midland for several years. The family wishes to give special thanks to those at Parks Methodist Retirement Village and Meals-On-Wheels in Midland for their love and kindness.Survivors include three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters and one sister-in-law.The family suggests memorials be made to Parks Methodist Retirement Village, Meals-on-Wheels in Midland, or your favorite charity.,
