Bobby Dale Wallace, February 26, 1941 – March 3, 2022, son of Jess and Sue Wallace, graduated from this life to his forever home with Jesus. He is celebrating with all that have gone before him including, his parents; his beloved wife, Barbara Price Wallace; his son, Scott Wallace; his brother, James; his sister-in-law, Mary Dell Wallace and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Bobby left this world peacefully in his sleep. He left behind his children, Shan and wife Diana, Stacy and wife Shannon and Andy and wife Mandi, and his daughter-in-law, Pamela. Bob also left his grandchildren, Josh, Tessa, Gerrod, Aspen, Chase, Aaron, Memory, Ayla, David, Leandra, Daniel, Kayla and Zachary and numerous great grandchildren as well whom will miss him greatly.
Bob graduated from Midland High School in the class of 1959. Bob was a successful businessman owning his own grocery store in South Midland until he sold it. He then took over the “family business: Wallace Grocery on East Highway 80. The popular grocery store was in business for 65 years when Bob retired.
Bobby was an active Christian and cofounder of Northeast Baptist Church in East Midland, now known as New Harvest Ministries. At the time of his death, Bob was a co-pastor along with his pastor son Stacy of Footprints Church located in the former Wallace Grocery building. Bob’s greatest desire in life was to see that all of his loved ones knew Jesus.
The memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm, Monday, March 7, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory located on North Big Spring Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Footprints Church at 6005 E. Hwy 80, Midland, TX 79706, or your favorite charity.
