Bobby Gene White

Bobby Gene White, 73, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Coahoma Cemetery.He was born March 1, 1941 in Martin County, Texas and married Sharon Ann Cottongame June 30, 1967 in Big Spring, Texas. She preceded him in death January 24, 2011.He was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and had worked in the oilfield for many years. He worked for the City of Big Spring for several years, retiring in 2003.He is survived by three sons, Richard White and wife, Samantha of Coahoma, Robert White and wife, Belinda of San Antonio and Randy White of Romayor; one daughter, Cheryl Lockhart and husband, Mike of Big Spring; two sisters, – Ola Mae Hale and Juanita White both of Big Spring; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.He was also preceded in death by his parents, Lewis B. White and Clara Belle Cubal White; one brother, Doyle White; one sister, Bonnie Griffis; and two grandchildren, Micah Pearson and Joseph Pearson.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
