Bobby F. Swan, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, November 2, 2007, on his fortieth birthday in Ft. Stockton, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, November 5, 2007 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel, 3800 N. Big Spring St. in Midland with Rev. Jim Nelson officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at the Simpson Cemetery in Eastland County, Texas. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home, 3800 N. Big Spring St. in Midland.He was born November 2, 1967 in Eastland, Texas to Lester and Marilyn Swan. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing and four wheeling. He enjoyed sports and outdoor activities with family and friends. He enjoyed collecting guns. He especially loved watching his son play football. Bobby loved the outdoors and being in the field environment, where he worked as an oilfield compressor mechanic. He worked both off shore and on shore. Over the last twenty-five years he worked primarily in the oilfield service industry. The last seven years were with his brothers at Midland Air Services. At the time of his death he was employed by Air Comp. He is survived by his son, Dylan Swan of Olive Branch, MS; his father Lester Swan of San Angelo; three brothers, David Swan of San Angelo, Randy Swan of Greenwood and Phillip Swan and his wife Amy of Olney; numerous family members and friends.He was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Fagan Swan in 1982.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to: The Dylan Swan Fund, Account #15975, % Heritage USA Credit Union, 5507 W.
