Bobbie Jean Richey, 73, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, September 3, 2009, in a Midland nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating.She was born on November 11, 1935, in Stanton, Texas and had been a resident of Big Spring most of her life. She helped raise her nieces and their children. She was a Baptist.Survivors include a sister, Billie Holland of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Jim Leonard and wife, Linda of Big Spring and Tammy Gibbs and husband, Mike of Lamesa. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gay Nell Leonard and Mary Sue Wood and one brother, Jackie Richey. Tammy & Jill, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. So many of my childhood memories are of Bobbie, GayNell, & your mom, Mary. Staying at your house, Bobbie cooking for us, your mom taking us swimming and of course GayNell at Everybody's with my mom being the best waitresses ever! Try to take time to remember some of the stunts we pulled with Bobbie watching us & shaking her head- especially when we decided we could dig our own pool! Love to you all, Terri
