Bob Brazel

Bob Brazel, 70, of Midland passed away on March 12, 2009 at Midland Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the funeral home. Bob was born on March 22, 1938 to Lillie Bell Hayes Brazel and Alonzo Lee Brazel in Amarillo, Texas. He married Shirley Juanita Shaw on March 22, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas. In 1972 the couple moved from Amarillo to Midland. He worked as a roofer for fifty years before retiring. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bob was a member of the Midland Chapter of the V.F.W. Survivors include daughter, April Haynie and husband Howard of Midland; son, Bruce Brazel and wife Stormy of Midland; brother, Douglas Brazel and wife Marion of Amarillo; sister, Debbie Peres and husband Kyle of Albuquerque, NM; father, Alonzo Lee Brazel of Amarillo. He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Brazel, his mother, Juanita Brazel and a brother, Bruce Brazel.
