Blanche Parks, 96, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, April 3, 2003, in a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, April 7, 2003, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on March 22, 1907 in Hardeman County, Texas. Mrs. Parks had lived in Napa, California for 48 years and had worked for Napa State Hosiptal as a psychiatric technician for 22 years. She moved to Big Spring in 1991. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include four granddaughters, Kim Hillman and husband, Jon, and Sherrie Stanley and husband, A. J., all of Big Spring, Marilyn Trouard and husband, Hal, of Kiowa, Colorado and Debra K. Parks of Parker, Colorado; two grandsons, James Parks and wife, Shelia, of LaPlace, Louisiana and Ralph Parks of Arlington; one brother, Capt. Wilbur Harris Vantine of McAllen and seven great grandchildren, Matthew Hillman, Clint and Charlene Stanley, Morgan and Lukas Trouard and David and James Parks. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmie Parks, former DPS officer for Howard County and Sanford,
