Blanche Hoch- Boswell, 83, of Midland, died on Tuesday, November 4, 2003, in her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 6, 2003 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Midland with Reverend Sue Hart, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring at 3:00 P.M. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at Nalley Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 3800 N. Big Spring.Blanche Mae Lane was born on February 2, 1920, in Crockett, Texas, the tenth and youngest child of Lem and and Stacy R. Hearn Lane. She married Forest W. Hoch in 1939 in Crockett. Her beloved husband preceded her in death 1n 1966. Blanche was a life-long member of the United Methodist Church..Survivors include four sons, Donald G. Hoch of Rancho Mirage, California; Forest and wife, Nadene, Hoch of Brownfield, Texas; C. Michael and wife, Melissa, Hoch of Garden City; Scott A. and wife, Mary, Hoch of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one brother, George Lane of Latexo, Texas; ten grandchildren, Forest C. and Sarah Hoch of Albuquerque, Dianna Foshee of Brownfield, Stacy Archer of Lubbock, Eva Hashemi of Lubbock, Casey Hoch of San Marcos, Paige Hoch of San Antonio, Jessica Hoch of Garden City, Amy Hoch of Lubbock, and Michelle Hoch of San Marcos; five great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Blanche is also survived by long-time friends in Waco where she lived many years prior to moving to Midland and her neighbors at Manor Park, and friends at Bethel United Methodist Church, old friends and many relatives in Houston County and also her very special caring and loving friends, Roger and Florence Horswill.The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Blanche's caregivers, Lowery In Home Care, and Hospice of Midland for their loving care during her last few weeks on this earth. In addition to her husband, Blanche was preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings.The family has requested that memorials be made to American Cancer Society, 2304 W.
