Blake Joel Robbins passed away Friday, July 17, 2026. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Anglican, 5501 North Midkiff, Midland, Texas.
Blake was born June 6, 1982, at Midland Memorial Hospital to Kathy and Trey Robbins. He graduated from Midland High School in 2001 and from Texas Tech University in 2005. He went on to build a career in the oil and gas business, a field he was deeply passionate about, becoming a third-generation landman following in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps.
Blake was kind, loving, and generous, most often giving anonymously to people and projects that moved his heart. He had a wonderful sense of humor that he brought into every one of his relationships. He loved Jesus Christ, his Rock and Redeemer; his children; his brothers and parents; Monica; his wonderful network of friends; the oil and gas business; and the Dallas Mavericks.
Above all, Blake was a devoted and loving father. He is survived by the loves of his life, his children, Reese and Rylan Robbins. His favorite days were spent traveling with them and out on the lake. He is also survived by his parents, Kathy and Trey Robbins of Midland; his brothers, Will (Tami) and Lee (Kristen) Robbins of Midland; his niece, Emili, and nephews, Cruz and Rett; his aunts and uncles, including Judi Robbins, Royce Robbins, Chris and Christine Gaddy, and Mike Gaddy; and his cousins Max and Jenna Gaddy, Cleigh Robbins, Kristin Valles, and Kelsey Robbins. Blake was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Mary Robbins and Richard and JoAnn Gaddy.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to everyone who has reached out with love, compassion, and support. It means a great deal to know how much he was loved. The family would be honored by donations made in Blake’s memory to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Midland, the Springboard Center, or Teen Challenge of Midland.
