Billy dedicated his life to hard work, honoring the legacy started by his father at G&G Tong Rental in Denver City.
He also worked for HCW Parker and Parsley, spent 20 years with Pioneer, and another 20 years with Fasken Oil and Ranch, where he reluctantly but proudly retired from earlier this year.
He was so committed to his work that even while in the hospital, he would work in his sleep, which is proof of the passion and drive that carried him through his life.
Billy was deeply respected throughout the oil field community. He trained, guided, and supported countless men, many of whom are now leaders in the industry. His kindness, fairness, and willingness to teach earned him admiration from everyone he met.
Billy was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. He welcomed family into his home without hesitation and helped many get back on their feet. He even played a major role in raising one of his grand-babies, which was something he held close to his heart.
He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, reading, and visits to the casino. But above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved them so fiercely that he would climb down from his wheelchair just to play with his great-grandkids.
