Billie Jean Kloss, 75, died on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, in Walters, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Darrell Hendrickson, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park, Big Spring.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 4, 2006 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.She was born on May 6, 1931, and married George W. Kloss on August 6, 1949 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on October 9, 1991.Mrs. Kloss and her husband moved to Big Spring in 1972. She had worked as a nurse's aide most of her life. She had worked as a school nurse, for the Red Cross and at Hall-Bennett Hospital for over twenty years.Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Larry James and Deanna and Rolf Romer all of Temple, Oklahoma; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Howard Kloss of California and Mike and Lola Kloss of Dale, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Leland and Jean Wood of San Marcos, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marty and Terry Lloyd of Midland, Texas, and Betty and Eugene Meisner of Tucson, Arizona; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard P. and Nola M. Wood, and two granddaughters, Kimberly Randall and Kimberly James. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
