Billie Frances Horn Perkins, aged 83 of Midland, Texas passed away at her home October 30, 2023.
Billie was born December 26, 1939 in Harlan, Kentucky to Frank and Vivian Horn. August 26, 1959 Billie was united in marriage to Curtis T. Perkins in El Paso, Texas. From this union 3 children were born; Jennifer Frederick, Sandra Earl, and Michael Perkins.
Billie was a devout Christian and a woman of profound faith. She could be found volunteering at church events throughout the years. She showed the love of Jesus in all she did.
She was a selfless woman who embodied what it means to be a Christian daily – patient, kind, gentle, forgiving, and above all else loving. Anyone who ever knew her loved her. The world just got a lot more dim without her.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents Vivian and Frank Horn, two brothers, Tommy Horn and Joe Horn, and a lifelong dear friend Norma Caulder.
Left to mourn her passing are her 3 children, Jennifer Frederick of Barbourville, Kentucky, Sandra Earl and husband Mike of Jasper, Alabama, and Michael Perkins of Midland, Texas; grandchildren Tamara Sanborn and husband Charlie, Christina Trosper and husband Joshua of Barbourville, Kentucky, Desiree Earl McCombs and Thomas Earl of Alabama, Curtis Perkins and wife Ashley of Brownwood, Texas, and Sarah Holmes and husband Jacob of Midland, Texas; great-grandchildren Morgan, Trevor, Seth, Harrison, and Caroline all of Barbourville Kentucky, Olivia, Joseph, Camdyn, Kenleigh of Alabama, Jaxson and Jace of Midland, Texas, Jaydon, Aubrey, Ian, and Isaiah of Midland, Texas; great-great grandchildren Eleanor and Henry of Maryville, Tennessee and Spencer of Barbourville, Kentucky, a very special niece and nephew Kimberly Valenzuela and Jeffrey Todd Horn, among other loved ones and dear friends.
A celebration of life for Billie will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Branch at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home 3800 N Big Spring Street in Midland from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
