Bill A. Milliken, 76, of Coahoma, died on Friday, February 1, 2008 in a Big Spring hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 4, 2008, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Wes Massey, pastor of First Baptist Church of Coahoma and Rev. Elwin Collom, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Big Spring, officiating. Interment will follow at the Coahoma Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.He was born on August 14, 1931 in Lamesa, Texas and married Lee York on March 30, 1951 in Big Spring.Bill was employed by Fina Oil and Chemical Company and retired in 1986 after 27 years of service. He also built many homes in the Coahoma area, owned a farm in Midland County for many years and was an avid Coahoma Bulldog fan. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coahoma where he served as a deacon, Sunday School Director and Sunday School teacher for many years.He is survived by his wife, Lee, one daughter, Arlene White and husband, Guy of Coahoma; two sons, Mark Milliken and wife, Bridget of Bastrop and Brad Milliken and wife, Chantal of Midland; six grandchildren, Jason Milliken and wife, Lisa of Elgin, Matthew White and wife, Laura of Lubbock, Craig Milliken of New York, New York, David White and wife, Lindy of Abilene, Latisha Perry and husand, Chris of Midland and Eric Milliken of New York, New York. He is also survived by a sister, Vera Lee Hunter and husband, Kenneth of Marble Falls; three sisters-in-law, Clara York of Coahoma, Freda Greenfield of McAllen and Patricia Cengiz of Georgetown; a brother-in-law, Louis Rees of Westbrook and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Edna Laura Milliken; two brothers, Russell Milliken and Robert Milliken and three sisters, Vaurine Smith, Valiere Rees and Verlynn King.Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jason Milliken, Matthew White, Craig Milliken, David White, Eric Milliken and his granddaughter's husband, Chris Perry.The family suggests memorials be made to the Building Fund of First Baptist Church of Coahoma, P.O.
