Beverly Rae Sundy

Beverly Rae Sundy, 87, of Big Spring, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, September 9, 2024 at Trinity Memorial Park.

Beverly was born December 14, 1936 in Wink, Texas to parents Ray C. and Ila Marie (Duke) Nichols.  She married Jimmy Lee Sundy and he preceded her in death.

“Beverly was a faithful, longtime member of Christ Fellowship Church in Big Spring, TX (formerly East Fourth Street Baptist Church). She often said that her mother made sure she did two things: go to school and go to church. Beverly honored her mother’s wishes.

Beverly loved many things. She loved dogs, she loved her church, she loved taking walks and eating barbeque sandwiches. She loved Billy Graham and she loved Gene Autry. She was a bundle of spunk to her final days and she will be dearly missed by those who knew her best.”

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Teresa Marie Sundy; one son Daniel Wayne Sundy and a sister: Claudia Maria Redmon.
