Beverly Karman, 74, of Midland, died on Saturday, July 19, 2008, in Midland. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Stonegate Fellowship Church with Jay Mayo, Associate Pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the funeral home.She was born on December 11, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan. She married Steve Karman on December 15, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan.Beverly served as President of the ABWA. She had a lifetime membership with Midland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, serving as President for the 2001-2002 term. Beverly served as Gift Shop Chairman for 28 years, serving since 1986. During her tenure as Chairman, the gift shop raised $1,841,653.00 for equipment purchases for the hospital. She was self employed with her husband, where they owned Karman's West 80 Shell Station, retiring in 1992. Survivors include her husband, Steve Karman of Midland; four daughters, Debbie Wojcik of Erie, Michigan, Marcia Erwin, Tricia Pinedo, Teena Robbins, all of Midland; one son, Steve Karman, Jr. of Hixson, Tennesee; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations be made to Hospice of Midland, P.
