Beverly Ann Cox, 58, of Big Spring, formerly of Arlington, died on Friday, October 29, 2004, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Ken Davis, pastor Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.Beverly Ann was born on November 12, 1945, in Big Spring and married Robert Cox on September 6, 1969 in Coahoma, Texas. She graduated from Midland High School and was a cosmetologists while living in Midland. She was the United States Barbecue Queen. Beverly loved painting, fishing and being a foster parent. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist ChurchSurvivors include husband, Robert Cox of Big Spring; one daughter, Sharon Arnold of Big Spring; two sons, Archie Cox of North Richland Hills and Keith Cox of Saginaw; two brothers, R. L. Barnett of Cross Plains and Amos Barnett of Syril, Oklahoma and twelve grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, Texas Affiliate.
