Betty L. Price, 76, of Big Spring, died on Monday, December 18, 2006, in a local hospital. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Mont Meta Memorial Park, San Benito, under the direction of Henry Thomae Funeral Home, San Benito.She was born on January 10, 1930, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Betty was a graduate of Rio Hondo High School and Texas A & I University. She had worked as a bookkeeping teacher at Snyder High School for 21 years, retiring in 1971. After retiring she moved to Harlingen where she lived for 6 years and then moved to Big Spring. She enjoyed playing bridge, visiting with friends and playing with her grandchildren.Survivors include three sons, Bob Price and wife, Jessica of Big Spring, Jim Price of Laredo, and Jerry Price and wife, Tracy of Ft. Worth; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Local arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
