Betty Jo Cravens

Betty Jo Cravens, age 74, of Midland, passed away on Sunday, February 29, 2004, at her residence. A memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with Jeff Franklin, Assoc. Pastor of Kelview Baptist Church, officiating. Betty was born on February 14, 1930 in Graham, Texas, to James Henry and Billie (Brown) Hilburn. Betty married Jimmie Cravens on May 31, 1949 in Odessa. She had worked as the Cashier at the Barn Door Restaurant in Odessa for many years and had also worked at Tommy's Jewelers in Odessa. She had been in Odessa and Midland for over 50 years and she was a baptist.Surviving Betty is her husband of 54 years, Jimmie of Midland, two daughters, Danette Roberts and husband Ken, and Debbie Hunt and husband Bobby all of Midland, a granddaughter, Jamie Hoelscher of St. Lawrence, a sister, Jackie Green of Cleburne, TX and several nieces and nephews.Betty was preceded in death by her parents.
