Betty CarawayBetty Caraway, 79, of Midland, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2006. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 25, 2006 at the Sweetwater Cemetery, north of Decatur with her grandson, Rev. Darrin Caraway, officiating.Betty was born February 5, 1927 to William and Minnie Lambert in Decatur. She married Robert Caraway in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1979. Betty moved to Midland in 1993. She was a homemaker.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Gayle Caraway of Midland; a grandson, Damon and his wife, Donna of Austin; a grandson, Darrin and his wife, Cheryl of Round Rock; two great granddaughters, Chyler and Callie of Round Rock; and a sister, Ruby Smith of Denton.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Home Hospice, 901 W Missouri, Midland, TX 79701.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory In Midland.
