I was so sad to see Ms. Ambrose had passed away. I was in her Home Economics Class in the early 80’s at Lee High School. The year I graduated she gave me a copy of her Cookbook-Betty’s Best. I thought of her today and pulled it out to look at the recipes. I decided to see if I could find her on fb and seen her Obituary. Ms. Ambrose was a great teacher. She taught me to sew and cook. She also would send me to the store to buy grocery’s for the next classes coming up. She taught me to be a smart shopper and how to make a grocery list so you weren’t running back and forth in the store. She will be very missed.

My condolences to Betty’s family during this sad time. Betty was my distant cousin and I visited her last year before I moved to GA. She kept up with family history and gave me books she had made of our families. I am so grateful for old photos she shared of our family members from long ago. Betty was a wonderful person and I will miss her.
