Amy, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I have so many Jr. High memories of her. She was a wonderful teacher who genuinely cared for her students. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Mrs. Cox was my favorite math teacher! I was in her class for regular math and “business math”, where she taught me to balance a checkbook! She was a lady of great patience. Rest peacefully Mrs. Cox.

Sweet Bettie....Heaven welcomes a beautiful angel. My condolences to Bettie's family for your loss. Many years ago, my Doberman boy, BJ, was in love with Bettie's Doberman girl, Buffy. I was visiting my mother who lived about a block away when BJ escaped the backyard. He found his way to the Cox home. Bettie called me and I went to get him. After that day, whenever BJ and I visited my mother, BJ would escape and find his way back to see Buffy. I took care of Buffy one week when Bettie and Valcee went on a vacation. Sweet memories. I now live in my mother's house and would often see Bettie walking her dogs. What a sweetheart she was. Prayers for comfort.
