Bertie Faye Shaw, 74, of Knott, died on Monday, November 22, 2004, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel, with Rev. John Kinman, pastor of Knott First Baptist Church and Rev. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.She was born on July 25, 1930, in Ackerly, Texas and married Larry Shaw on June 26, 1948 in Ackerly.She was a lifelong resident of the Knott community and a member of Knott First Baptist Church.Bertie enjoyed her family, scrapbooking, home decorating, reading and traveling.Survivors include her husband, Larry Shaw of Knott; one son, Larry Don Shaw of Austin; one daughter & son-in-law, Linda and Eric Johnson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two sisters, Wanda Stump of Bastrop, and Laura Gene Lawson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two grandsons; three granddaughters; three great grandchildren, one niece; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two brothers-in-law. The family requests memorials be made to Knott First Baptist Church, 7107 W.
