Bentura Covarrubias Morrison passed away peacefully on Thursday August 27, 2026.She was born on April 26,1937 to the late Francisca Bustillos Covarrubias and Desiderio Covarrubias. She was born in Mexico but was a lifelong Midlander.

Bentura dedicated her life to helping others as a CNA caregiver most of her entire adult life.

Bentura is survived by her only son Miguel “Mike” Espinoza and her sister Emma Grado and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Ricardo Covarrubias.

Service for Bentura will be on Friday September 4, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Mike would like to thank Hospice of Midland, especially grateful to Pam, Andrea, and Stephanie for all their support and care for mom during her final years. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Midland.
