Belinda Ohnesorge, 68, of Midland, passed away on February 6, 2009 at the Hospice Midland Inpatient Unit. Memorial services will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Kelview Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Berry officiating. She was born on January 17, 1941 to Cyrus and Vera Britton. After her education, Belinda began her career at West Side National Bank in San Angelo, Texas. She also worked for HNG Oil, and FDIC as an auditor in Midland and San Antonio. Later, she worked for Edward Jones as an on call business office administrator in Midland, Odessa and San Antonio. She was an avid reader and loved to garden. Most of all, she loved being involved with her church family and her children and grandchildren. Survivors include: her son, Steve Gentry and wife Susan of Midland; daughter Stacie Huff of Midland; four granddaughters, Stephanie McQuitty and husband Gene, Katie Gentry, Meagan McCranie, and Brittony Carrillo; two great granddaughters, Averi McQuitty and Brenna Collins; and one adopted daughter, Teresa Patteson of Midland. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Britton and her parents.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to: Breaking Bread Ministries, PO Box 9402, Midland, TX 79708.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. There are no words to express my deep sadness for the loss of our beloved "B". She and my mom, Scogie were best friends of the heart since the early 1970's. I watched them both grow in the love of the Lord which they shared with others each and every day of their lives. Steve and Stacy and families~ It is such a strange transition after the loss of a parent. One of being suddenly untethered or unanchored - even when their passing has been eminent for some time. I will keep you all in my prayers for your peace and comfort and joy in any measure it may come. This may come as a surprise to you - but your mom was a real pistol with some pretty strong opinions (heehee I know you're shocked:-)), but more importantly, she had a love for - and faith in - her Father in heaven. What comfort comes in knowing that she is whole and healthy and and in His house forever and evermore! While heaven rejoices in their gain, there is a hole here, once filled by your mom's larger-than-life personality packed in that tiny little body! Blessings on each of you. love Lauri

I used to attend Bible Study Fellowship and Sunday School with Belinda. I loved her - her sense of humor and smile were special and I will miss her. No more pain, no more suffering for her now as she is healthy and full of joy in the presence of the Lord!
