Bobi Lloyd of Midland, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many passed away on June 18, 2005 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday June 25, at St. Nicholas' Episcopal Church, 4000 W. Loop 250 N. She was born February 20, 1934 to Alexander Perry and Florence McNeil Perry in Highland Park, Illinois. She was a graduate of the Immaculate Conception Academy in Davenport, Iowa. She married Ron Lloyd in Atlantic, Iowa on May 7, 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bobi is survived by her husband and daughters Kim King and husband Frank of Spokane, Washington, Nancy Lloyd of Carrollton, Texas and Patti Warren and husband Steve of Kingwood, Texas; grandchildren, Chris, Bryan, and Nathan Eckman of Spokane, Ryan and Erin Hill and Adria Warren of Kingwood and Olivia Lloyd of Carrollton; Also brother, Jim Perry of St. Louis and sister-in-law Donna Lloyd of Des Moines, Iowa. During Ron's employment with Northern Natural Gas Co. they resided in a number of locations in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, and Texas. Following Ron's retirement they enjoyed many trips to Europe, the Carribbean, Canada, and through out the United States. In 1998 she accompanied her daughter Nancy to China for the purpose of meeting and bringing home her granddaughter Olivia. She was a charter member of the Green Tree Ladies Association and the Green Tree Ladies Golf Association serving on both boards in various positions. She thoroughly enjoyed her times on the golf course with her golfing friends. As a member of the Midland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary she served as a volunteer for many years. Bobi was active in Girls Scouts of USA, serving as leader for each of her daughter's troops. She was a member of and served on the Altar Guild at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. David Watkins and the entire staff at the Allison Cancer Center for their kindness and care given to Bobi during her illness. They also want to thank all the wonderful friends and neighbors for their thoughtfulness and friendship during Bobi's illness.
