Barbara Eileen Teague, 74 of Midland, TX, passed away after an illness on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, in Midland, TX. A visitation will be from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday, April 19th, 2026, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Services will be 10am Monday, April 20th, 2026, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park in Hobbs, NM at 3pm (MDT) on Monday, April 20th, 2026.
Barbara was born on September 27, 1951, in Hobbs, NM to Robert C. Teague, Sr. and F. Marie Teague, the second child of four children. She spent her early years in Hobbs, NM. Her parents, along with her siblings, moved to Salvador, Brazil when she was 6-7 years old, where her dad worked for Brantley Drilling Company (out of Midland, TX) for 10 years. The family moved back to the states in 1968. They lived in Las Vegas, NV for a short while, then moved back to Hobbs, NM and made Hobbs their home. She enjoyed being on the beach, where she learned several water activities. She enjoyed traveling when she could. She attended NM Jr. College in Hobbs, NM and Odessa Jr. College in Odessa, TX
She worked for the Social Security Administration for 5 years. She went to work for US Geological Survey until they transferred to Roswell, NM. She then worked for Dorchester Oil & Gas until they were bought out. She moved to Odessa, TX where she worked for various oil companies. In 1997 she moved to Midland, TX and went to work for Autry C. Stephens – now known as Endeavor Energy Resources. She loved working with all the people at Endeavor, a great place to work. She always stated she had the best boss anyone could ask for.
Barbara was a God loving Christian. She always preached to her nieces about Salvation, that it was so important to her that you know and worship God to have eternal life with Him.
Barbara is survived by nieces Sarah Jones, Nicole Jones, and Haleigh Morales; great niece Kylee Stephenson; and great nephew Beckhem Jones.
She is preceded in death by Robert C. Teague, Sr., F. Marie Teague, Robert C. Teague Jr., Billy J. Teague, and Beckie M. Teague.
Sarah and Beckhem would like to express their gratitude towards Heart to Heart Hospice, Midland Memorial Hospital Staff, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and Dr. S Mangat, oncologist in Midland.
