Barbara Ann Eisler, 76, of Big Spring, died Saturday, February 9, 2013, in a local nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.Barbara was born October 27, 1936, in Hobbs, New Mexico and married Gifford Robert \Bob\ Eisler June 27, 1953 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death eptember 20, 1980.She was a broker for Marie Rowland Real Estate. When it closed, she went to Abilene Christian University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. She then began working as the Texas State Region IV Volunteer Cordinator and helped nursing homes set up volunteer programs. After retiring, she began raising Arabian Horses and continued to bow hunt. She still holds the state record for the largest turkey taken with a bow and arrow.She was a member of Eleventh and Birdwell Lane Church of Christ.Survivors include one daughter, Pam Hass and husband, Larry; grandsons, Robert Newton and Robert Ramsey and wife, Cheyenne all of Big Spring; one granddaughter, Sommer Topia and husband, Michael of Ft. Stockton; and seven great-grandchildren, Bailey, Dusta, and Colton White, Ryan Bradley, Gabriella, and Alyssa Ramsey, and Teagan Topia. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, W.D. and Marie (Cates) Rowland; one daughter, Robbie Winn; one granddaughter, Lori White Beck; and one brother, Rufus Rowland.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
