She enjoyed creating dolls and multiple crafts for many years and was a member of Paint Daubers. She was a member of the American Red Cross Auxiliary, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and was very nurturing to her friends and numerous homebound elderly. In later years, Louise was diagnosed legally blind and along with others experiencing sight loss, enjoyed activities at the VAN facility.Louise never failed to thank all who came to visit her at Manor Park. Her still lovely soprano voice was often heard as she sang religious music anywhere she felt the impulse to do so. An inspiring rendition of God Bless America was a favorite while dining. Following a private graveside service, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert Pase officiating.
