We have never met, my father served in the Army Air Corps with your father. My dad died last august so I am so sorry for your l;oss. The heartbreak is painful. I have cleaned out my dad's things and came across all his army documents, maps and there was aletter from Aubrey M Weaver Box 77 big springs Texas Would guess that was your Dad. My father must have liked him well if he kept the sixty plus years . I did find your dad's name on a flight training list my dad has. I thank your dad for his sevice to our counntry, that was tthe great generation. Barbara Shipman

Aubrey will be missed. He was a kind of friend we need more of these days. His word was his bond and the generosity of thought and ideas was never in short supply. He could converse on many subjects and had worldly aspects always appreciated. Aubrey and his family were always willing to help people and one's station mattered not. Our family knew him for decades and we were recipients of his kindness and help in many situations. This is only a fraction of what should be written, but this will be kept short. Aubrey will be missed, but his memory will live on.
