Ashley was born July 22, 1983 to Mary Alice Mitchell Jackson and Thomas Stewart in Midland, Texas. She attended school in Midland, TX and later completed her high school education at Garland High, Garland, TX. She continued her education at Remington College and graduated with her associates in Business Administration in 2012.Ashley was loved by so many. Some of her favorite pastimes were reading, singing, cooking and making videos. She was also known for only having an outdoors voice. She spent many of her young years as part of the Young Life group where she met many friends and spent many, many days and nights getting to know her Savior, Jesus Christ.Before Ashley’s move to the Dallas area, she became a member of True-Lite Christian Fellowship Church where she participated in church dramas and her children participated in the children’s choir. After returning to Midland, Ashley and her children continued their active participation at True-Lite.Ashley was a smart girl and had aspirations to acquire her master’s degree. Instead, she is now with The Master.She leaves to cherish her memory her 4 children whom she loved dearly; her daughters, Amajna and Jerzei Mitchell, and her sons Cashus Walton and Denim Mitchell. She is also survived by her mother Mary Alice Mitchell Jackson, her father, Thomas Stewart, her maternal grandmother Wanda Rogers, and her siblings, Audrey Mitchell, Elise Bell, Alaya Bell and Shanice Bell all of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and her brothers; Marquette Basped of Dallas, TX and Dorian Stewart and Araina Reed, both of Midland, TX; also her special guardians Mike and Cindy Black. In addition, she leaves a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and friends and among the many people who loved her.She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Bennie and Artis Mitchell, her maternal grandfather, Roger McAllister, her maternal great grandmother Greta Marlene Williams, her paternal grandmother Lully Faye Meaderis and her uncle, Reggie McAlister.There will be a Wake from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Nalley_Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at True-Lite Christian Fellowship in Midland.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
