Arthur Wolfe

Arthur Wolfe, Jr., 66, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Chaplain Dean Thomas, chaplain at the VA Medical Center, officiating.He was born on April 13, 1938, in Fort Wayne, Indiana and married Marcia Irene Miner on July 22, 1984 in Wichita, Kansas.Mr. Wolfe retired from the United States Navy and then from civil service on November 27, 2004. He moved to Big Spring on December 14, 2004 from Oxnard, California.He enjoyed radio controlled airplanes and raising and showing Scottish terriers.Survivors include his wife, Marcia Wolfe of Big Spring; a son, Jayson Wolfe; a daughter, Hellena Wolfe; five step sons, Alvin Schibbelhut, Troy Schibbelhut and Daniel Schibbelhut all of Missouri, Ramon Gutierrez of Illinois and Michael Gutierrez of Kansas; a sister, Judy Wolfe of New Haven, Indiana and nine grandchilren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Brian Wolfe.
