So sorry to hear about Art's passing. I have so many fond memories of him from knowing him at Pollard's when he worked with my grand dad C.Y. ClinkscalesOnce when I decided to run away from home, around 16 years old, I went to Pollard and Art was so cool. He asked me where I was going, I didn't know...he asked if I had money, no I didn't, he gave me 50 dollars and wished me luck. I was back within an hour. I know he knew I wouldn't get far. He would come to see me in Dallas after I left BS also when he was in town. I loved him very much. I hope he knew that. My condolences to you all. Jenna

Long time friend, and a character delux. He had a special personality like none other. Rembering many good times, and fellowship with his family in the good old days in Ackerly. Prayers and sympathy to the Blassingame family.
