Armida “Mida” Gabaldon, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 27,2025. Mida was born on March 17, 1971, and resided in Midland TX.
Anyone who knew Mida knew that she loved her husband, her children and her family with a ferocity that was unmatched by anyone. She was their biggest cheerleader and most loyal defender, ready to come to their rescue in a heartbeat. In turn, she was loved immensely by them. Her generosity knew no bound, always willing to lend a helping hand.
She enjoyed crafting, shopping, fishing, boating, casinos, and cruising on the back of her husband’s Harley. She was always ready for her next adventure. She loved celebrating and being surrounded by family and friends. She was the life of the party, or better yet, she was the party. She was the glue that kept family united, hosting every family get-together. Mida’s home was always filled with music and laughter.
She is survived by her beloved husband Gerardo Gabaldon, her beloved son Rene Urias, her beloved daughter Patricia Urias, her mother Adela Ramos, her siblings Gilbert, Joe, Javier, Johnny, Terry “Lala” and Angelica “Oshie”, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Sergio Cano, her big brother Jaime Cano, and her grandpup Delilah.
Midas passing has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered for the profound impact she had on the lives of those who loved her.
Her radiant smile and shine will be forever missed.
