Annie Louise Neatherlin

Annie Louise Neatherlin, 82 of Midland, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm – 6:00pm, Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, May 8, 2023, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel.

Louise was born on January 28, 1941, in Munday, Texas to John Spencer Kirkpatrick and Norma (Bess) Louise Kirkpatrick. In life Louise had done many things from driving house-moving trucks for her father when help was needed to sailing yachts in Florida. She had many talents from, fixing a scraped knee to healing a broke heart for her kids and the many nieces and nephews she was blessed with. Her parents and siblings meant everything to her, and she loved every one of them to her last breath. She was a very hard worker and would sometimes outwork some of the men. Louise could fix or make new just about anything, as she had her own business for many years doing upholstery and making drapes for many in the community. Her hands showed the labor that was done and her smile showed that she was always proud of her work as she should be. She married Ben F Neatherlin in 1985 and they had many adventures together from hunting rocks in the mountains of Alpine and Ft Davis to fishing and hunting together as there was nothing, she was afraid to try. She spent many a mile on the road with her husband Ben Neatherlin driving a truck and was a very skilled driver as her career had changed later in life. They enjoyed the road and seeing all the different sites throughout the country together as team drivers, and husband and wife. When she loved she loved deeply and you felt the love. Her smile would light up the room. She was never one to not help when help was needed and offered help to many throughout the years. Family meant everything to her, and she loved all her family even to the end. She had many talents in life, too many to list, but the talent she had most was the love for her family and friends.

Louise is preceded in death by her father John Spencer Kirkpatrick and mother Norma (Bess) Louise Kirkpatrick, her brothers Raymond E Kirkpatrick, Roy S Kirkpatrick, and grandson, Caleb Andersen

Louise is survived by her husband Ben F Neatherlin, her son Vance Andersen, Daughter Crystal Stratton, stepsons Ben W Neatherlin and Cody L Neatherlin, many brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice and all the many friends and family that came to check on her and helped in this trying time.
