I was so heart broken to hear of Anita's death. I was passing through Amarillo, Tx on a bus tour going to Albuquerque & Santa Fe, I felt lead to call her since I was passing near Big Spring.. We haven't communicated in a few years, but we had stayed in touch off and on over the last 50 years. We worked together at Furr's Cafeteria. I had longed over to years to go back to Big Spring and visit with her, but it just never materialized. I could tell from her letters , that she was a christian so it is not good bye but see you later my dear friend.
