Anita Diamond, 73, of Midland passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012 in Odessa, TX. She will be in state on Monday, December 31, 2012 from 8:00-1:00PM at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, December 31, 2012 at First Assembly of God with Pastor Mike Hanks officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. Anita was born on November 11, 1939 to Silas and Edna Kee in Olney, Texas. She married James Hullin Diamond on January 21, 1960 in Plains, Texas. Anita was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Survivors include, James Diamond her husband of 53 years; daughter, Tammy and husband Jubel Scarborough; grandchildren, Paul Neatherlin, Cameron Williams and Brynlei Scarborough; sisters, Doris Miller and Patricia Brookshire; sister-in-law, Hazel Mathews, and her daughter, Vicki Holt.
