Anacleto "Junior" Casas, 56, of Knott, Texas, died Thursday, September 6, 2012, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with M. Shawn Gary, minister of the Knott Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2012, at the funeral home.He was born November 10, 1955, in Rio Grande City, Texas and married Zulema Villarreal January 19, 1982 in Rio Grande City, Texas.Junior came to the Knott Community as a young boy. He farmed all of his life and the last five years he managed the Knott Co-op Gin. He loved all animals but especially enjoyed training horses, and he loved hunting.He was a member of the Knott Church of Christ.Survivors include his wife, Zulema "Sue" Casas of Knott; four sons, John Casas and wife, Karissa of Knott, Lee Casas and wife, Shelly of Lamesa, Jesus Casas and fiance, Andrea and Jerry Casas all of Knott; two sisters, Agapita Blanco and Sara Montalvo both of Rio Grande City; one brother, David Casas of Rio Grande City; his mother, Hazel Shockley of Big Spring; and four grandchildren, Ranen Wilson, Wyatt Casas, Kiley Casas and Averi Casas.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Valdomero Casas and Ruben Casas; his adoptive father, J. B.
