Visitation will be Tuesday, October 23 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Gilbreath Funeral Home.Tince was born to Grover and Mamie Digby Griffice March 31, 1918 in Big Spring, Texas. She attended school in Big Spring and Lomax. Tince came to Martin County as the young bride of Dwayne Ory in 1935 and has lived in the county until four years ago when she moved to assisted living in Fredericksburg.Tince Ory was an active member of First Baptist Church, and the Stanton community for many years. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Martin County Art Club, Friends of the Library, and Martin County Museum Board. Many of her beautiful paintings are treasured by family members.She loved to travel with friends and family and had a huge collection of scrapbooks and slides of trips and family gatherings.Tince was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; a nephew, her husband, Dwayne Ory, in 1993, and a great grandson, Pfc. Clayton Welch Henson in 2004.Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Betty Barnett of Lubbock; three daughters, Yvonne Simpson and husband, Ray of Hereford, Virginia James and husband, Chuck of Stanton and Mary Polk and husband, Burley of Mason; one son, John Ory of Mason; also 13 grandchildren, Randy Henson and wife, Leta of Stanton, Kim Sliney and husband, John of Hereford, Ron Henson of Dallas, Carl Simpson of Hereford, Mel Polk and wife, Lisa of Mason, Janis Artho and husband, David of Canyon, Glee Holcomb of Austin, Rae Beth Polk and wife, Debbie of Mason, DJ Ory and wife, Channy of Terrell, John Ory and wife, Nancy of Tyler, Chrissy Ory of Dallas, Mike Ory and wife, Kristyn of Houston and Nick Ory and wife, Camille of Terrell; 24 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild.Pallbearers are Randy Henson, Ron Henson, Carl Simpson, Mel Polk, DJ Ory, John Ory, Mike Ory, and Nick Ory.The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church, P.O.
