Bo, Steve, Kent and family - our thoughts and prayers are with you all this day. The world lost a wonderful, sweet and gracious person this week but the Lord has another wonderful angel with Him now. Alta was more than friend - We were sisters by choice - *When we were little we played together, *When we were teenagers we laughed together, *When we were young adults we rejoiced together, *When we were older we commiserated together, Lord take care of my sister by choice until we can be together again. Margaret, Edgar, Debbie and family, Michele and family

I remember Alta for her hospitality. Many times over the years she opened her home to steve's friends. The first was way back in 1985 when i and my then fiance, Tami, visited and went jet-skiing at stanton. She was always happy and sure to tell us to be careful on our caving trips. I remember being curious each visit to see what kind of car she was driving. May God comfort you through this time. Your pals James & Tami

What a fun, kind lady. I lived next door for about 10 years. She took in all of the box turtles from the neighborhood. I would always search my yard for the stray turtle before I would mow and then take it over to Alta to feed and care for. I will always remember the decorations in her back yard. Quite the festive yard to enjoy. She and Ken also helped me out when my husband was diagnosed with cancer. I will always remember her kindness.

Such sweet memories of Alta and Ken at the Honda/Kawasaki motorcycle shop, she always had a smile, coffee made, and a cookie or piece of cake. She will be sorely missed. She and Ken always treated me and my motorcycle with the greatest care. Loved those days in the 80's when things were a little slower, a lot smarter, and the atmosphere filled with such sweet people as Alta and Ken. Rest in the arms of God my dearest friend you have finished your race. Will always remember you and Ken. In his grace. Bob
