Alexander Matthew Galindo, age 29 of Midland, TX passed away on Monday June 24, 2024. A visitation will begin at 8:00am on Sunday June 30, 2024 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory. A Rosary service will also be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 30, at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00pm, Monday, July 1, 2024 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.
Alex was born on July 3, 1994 in Odessa, TX to Stanley Galindo and Debra Hughes. Graduated from Midland High School in 2013 and continued college at Midland College. Alex was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and infectious smile. He was a gentle soul that captured the hearts of all who met him, to know Alex was to love him. His dogs Loki and Jack were his world. He loved nature and the outdoors. Alex’s tender care for nature and his remarkable ability to nurture life mirrored the beauty that existed within his own soul. Through the art of gardening, he found solace and tranquility, creating a haven of blossoms and greenery that will forever stand as a testament to his gentle spirit. Always freely willing to lend a helping hand. He will forever remain in our hearts. We were able to create wonderful memories with Alex and it was a privilege to be his parents.
Alex is survived by his pets Loki and Jack Galindo. His mother and stepfather Debra and Bobby Hughes, his father & stepmom Stanley and Elena Galindo. His siblings Katrina and Miguel Ruiz, Stanley Jr. and Taylor Galindo, Nathaniel and Maya Galindo. His nephews Christopher, Beckham, and Eden Ruiz, and nieces Logan and Max Galindo.
Alex is preceded in death by his grandmother Elva O Sanchez, great grandmother Frances V Marquez, great grandparents Elodia O Jeminez and Benito M Orona , step great grandparents Dick and Almeda Richardson.
The family would like to express their gratitude towards all of his friends and family that knew and loved him.
