Adolph M. Garcia, 52, of Big Spring, died on Friday, December 7, 2001, in a Big Spring hospital. Vigil services will be 8:00 PM Monday, December 9, 2001 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 11, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. James Plagens, pastor of St. Thomas Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. He was born on October 11, 1949 in Big Spring, Texas and married Maria Lopez on June 24, 1972 in Big Spring, Texas. He worked as a roughneck for Robinson Drilling. Mr. Garcia was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Maria I. Garcia of Big Spring; two daughters, Melinda D. Garcia and Julie L. Garcia both of Big Spring; two sons, Mark A. Garcia of Arlington and Robert E. Garcia of Big Spring; his parents, Willie S. and Margarita M. Garcia of Iraan; four sisters, Elizabeth Jimenez of Big Spring, Elodia Gutierrez of Coahoma, Maggie Templeton of St. Mary's, West Virginia and Emily Montejano of Iraan; one brother, Tony Garcia of St. Mary's, West Virginia; two granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 3525 Andrews Hwy. Ste. 111, Midland, Texas 79703.
