Aaron Randall Combs, 84, of Big Spring, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in Lubbock. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Trinity Memorial Park.
Aaron was born October 16, 1938 in Fyffe, Alabama to parents Winola (Gilbert) and Leonard Combs. He married Janice Allen November 28, 1979 in Big Spring, Texas and they made Big Spring their home. He served in the United States Air Force for four years. He had worked at Cosden Refinery for over 20 years in addition to owning Tate Plumbing for over 40 years. He loved gardening and was an avid gardener. He was known for his cantaloupes and sweet potatoes by all who knew him. He was a funny individual. He volunteered at the Chalet and enjoyed doing the grocery shopping along with hunting, fishing, football and horseraces. He loved his family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife Janice Combs; two sons: Jimmy and Patricia Combs and Billy Joe Combs; his grandson: Aaron Scott Combs; special kids: Britton Archer and Ace and Piper Archer; his brother Jerry and Faye Combs; Butch Combs; his sister: Judy Rowell; and loving sister: Sue Wilkerson and Charles; and a niece Kellie and Todd Tubb and special soul mate Hayden Tubb and Cheyenne.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Wayne Combs and Charles Combs.
