A. A. Cooper, 83, of Big Spring, died on Monday, March 19, 2007, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the 14th & Main Church of Christ with Rick Cunningham, minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.He was born on December 3, 1923, in Fife, Texas and married Margaret Hazel Newlin on June 7, 1943 in San Angelo. She preceded him in death on March 13, 1992. He then married Tommie Bryans on July 19, 1992 in Nocona, Texas.Mr. Cooper had managed the Sherwin Williams store and then later owned and operated The Color Center until his retirement.He had served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of 14th & Main Church of Christ.Survivors include his wife, Tommie Cooper of Big Spring; two sisters, Ethel Winslett and Mary Sneed both of Big Spring and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, % Carolyn Brooks, P.O.
